 Senedd:\n1. Notes the Welsh Government's estimate that\nWales's combined d
 efence and aerospace sector directly employs 16\,000 people\,\nhas a turno
 ver of £3.7 billion\, and contributes approximately £1.5 billion in\ngro
 ss value added to the Welsh economy.\n2. Recognises:\na) the significant o
 ngoing contribution that the\ndefence sector makes to Wales\;\nb) the impo
 rtance of a thriving defence sector\nat a time of geopolitical uncertainty
 \; and\nc) that Wales has a proud history of contributing to the defence o
 f the United\nKingdom.\n3. Calls on the Welsh Government to support the\nd
 efence sector by:\na) publishing a Welsh defence industrial\nstrategy sett
 ing out how to maximise the economic\, industrial and skills\nopportunitie
 s arising from increased UK defence spending in Wales\;\nb) collaborating 
 with further and higher\neducation providers to expand the availability of
  apprenticeships\, technical\neducation and graduate pathways based on the
  needs of the defence sector\; and\nc) working with the UK Government to e
 xplore\nopportunities to strengthen investment in the defence sector in Wa
