Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of providing support for the National Voter Registration Drive.
Answered by Chris Skidmore
The Government supported National Voter Registration Day in 2015 and 2016. We will consider future requests for financial support to boost registration levels. We work closely with partners including the Electoral Commission to ensure people know how to register to vote and can do so easily.
