Make Veganism a Protected Characteristic under The Equality Act 2010

We want to add veganism as a protected characteristic to The Equality Act 2010

This petition was rejected on 24th Mar 2020 for not petitioning for a specific action

The Petition Committee commented:
The courts have ruled that ethical veganism is a philosophical belief which qualifies as a protected belief within the meaning of Section 10 of the Equal Act 2010, so is already protected under this legislation.
