Remove the suspension PIP payments policy to beneficiaries in care of NHS

For PIP payments to continue to be paid to anyone in long term care of the NHS trusts in the UK. As policy for DWP currently states After 28 days payments are stopped until person(s) are home and discharged from hospital. This policy needs to be removed and payments to be continued.

Removing peoples payments does not support their financial freedom or independence- people that are in long term care in hospitals may not have direct access to communications with their bill providers or to pay their rent or to pay for their own living. We believe this policy does not morally support enabling people to continue to live a life where they can be free from the stresses of bills and accommodation fees or maintenance of their property / items / educational fees / living costs / medical costs.
