In April 2019 the Home Office awarded £9 million of funding to 57 UK voluntary and community sector organisations to support vulnerable EEA citizens and their family members with additional help when applying for the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS).

In March 2020, the Home Office announced a further £8 million of funding to be awarded to continue supporting vulnerable and hard to reach EEA citizens applying to the EUSS.

72 UK organisations are now providing support with this funding, which has been used to support over 200,000 vulnerable citizens applying to the EUSS so far.
