Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 20 September 2017 to Question 10152, on Department for Transport: redundancy pay, how much of the £6,307,274 awarded in exit payments to core department staff and the £17,011,102 awarded to departmental group staff in 2016 and of the £5,848,495 awarded to core department staff and £17,987,001 awarded to departmental staff in 2015 was awarded to (a) men and (b) women.

Details of the number, type, compensation levels and cost of exits from the Department for Transport are routinely published in the Department’s Annual Report and Accounts. We do not hold all the information requested centrally and to establish these details would incur disproportionate costs.
