Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of trends in the level of supply of (a) 40mg and (b) 80g Valsartan tablets in the UK.

While no specific assessment has been made, we are not aware of supply issues with these capsules. There is currently sufficient stock to meet demand in the United Kingdom.
