The UK recorded 26 imports of hunting trophies under CITES in 2020, the latest full year for which data is available.

Data for 2021 is currently being finalised and Defra will update the hon. Member as soon as this process is complete, which we expect to be in spring 2022. In due course, finalised data should also become available through the CITES trade database at https://trade.cites.org/.
