Leaving the EU gives us the unique opportunity to shape our own ambitious trade and investment opportunities and it is important that future trade policy, including decisions on future tariff levels, delivers for the whole of the UK, including Wales. I hold regular discussions with the Secretary of State for International Trade, and I, as a member of the Trade Committee, and my officials, are working closely with the Department for International Trade on their broader work and analysis. We will continue to ensure that full consideration is given to any potential economic impact on Wales, including in relation to specific sectors, as the trade work develops.
