Tax Avoidance

Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether his Department has made an estimate of the scale of tax avoidance in the (a) overseas territories and (b) Crown Dependencies.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) only estimates tax lost to avoidance within the United Kingdom. HMRC does not estimate tax losses outside its jurisdiction.
