Delivery of Cost Improvement Programmes will be a major part of helping any trust to deliver its control totals. Circumstances will vary across trusts and NHS Improvement will offer a range of support packages for trusts facing gaps in their financial targets and these are tailored to trusts’ needs appropriately. The National Health Service leadership bodies have developed their own plan in partnership with local providers to deliver financial sustainability in this and future years.
