The requirement to lay an annual report before Parliament on the progress towards full employment was revoked by the dissolution of Parliament on 3 May 2017, under section 1(2) of the Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016. This was before the first anniversary of the requirement coming into force on 16 May 2016.
