Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 13 November 2017 to Question 111770, what assessment she has made of the potential merits of providing a secure means for childcare providers to provide detailed financial information on their costs and revenues.

We have been clear that where providers feel unable to deliver 30 hours of free childcare on government funding, they are welcome to share, if they feel able to do so, financial information on their costs and revenues. They can supply this information through existing communication channels.
