Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions in what ways his Department treats clerical cases differently to other cases.

The Department does not treat clerical cases differently to other cases. The outcomes for the customer will be the same although, while cases are being managed on a clerical basis, there will be small differences in the way the cases are managed due to differences in the level of technology support available at a point in time.
