Homeless patients are entitled to register with GP at Hand, in the same way as with any other general practitioner (GP) practice, using a temporary address, which may be a friend’s address or a day centre. The practice may also use the practice address to register homeless patients if they wish.

GP at Hand offer traditional general medical services to patients registered with them. The enhanced model they are implementing now focuses on a digital first service through the use of a mobile app which is provided by Babylon Health. Due to the digital element of the service, GP at Hand may not be suitable for all patients.
