To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what steps his Department has taken to improve social mobility in each of the last seven years.

The Department for Work and Pensions aims to contribute to improving social mobility by running an affordable and sustainable welfare system that is extending opportunity and promoting personal responsibility to help people transform their lives. The actions taken by the Department in each of the last seven years are set out in its annual reports.
