Police Custody: Sanitary Protection

Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 10 January 2018 to Question 121393, what responses have been received from constabularies in England, as a result of the letter to Chief Constables on sanitary protection arrangements in their respective force areas from the National Policing Lead for Custody, ACC Nev Kemp, dated 21 December 2017.

The analysis of the responses to the letter sent to Chief Constables will be led by the National Policing Lead to inform the new national guidance for officers.
