Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the responsibilities of the Minister for the Constitution, what the term government communications refers to.

Government communications is a function within the civil service. It includes media relations, campaigns and marketing, digital communication and internal communication. Its purpose is to support the delivery of public services, the implementation of policy, to promote the UK globally and to explain government priorities and decisions.
