Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what guidance his Department has issued on how many scotch eggs constitute a substantial meal under proposed Tier 2 covid-19 restrictions.

The concept of a substantial meal is long established in law, for example in the Licensing Act 200, and in the practice of the hospitality industry, and is readily familiar to those who operate and regulate licensed premises.
