Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether attendance at the Presidents Club dinner of 18 January 2018 is compatible with the (a) responsibilities of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families' portfolio and (b) Ministerial Code.

My hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State attended the event in a private capacity. The event was not in any way connected to his departmental role.
