As a priority, we are currently working with the EU and partner countries to ensure continuity of the application of EU trade agreements with non-EU countries during the Implementation Period.

Alongside these discussions, we are working with partner countries to ensure continuity of trading arrangements beyond the Implementation Period. Partner countries are aware that this is a technical exercise to replicate the effects of current trade agreements and ensure continuity. They recognise that continuity is very much in our mutual interest and the interests of all of our businesses.
