Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what proportion of eligible employees of his Department use childcare vouchers.

8.5% of eligible HM Treasury employees use childcare vouchers.

The childcare voucher scheme is a salary sacrifice scheme which means that an employee agrees to a reduction in their taxable salary, and receives the equivalent amount in childcare vouchers instead.
