Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what steps he is taking to increase awareness of back-dated Home Responsibilities Protection payments; and if he will make a statement.

Information on eligibility and how to apply is clearly set out on GOV.UK: https://www.gov.uk/home-responsibilities-protection-hrp. Applications may be made for years between 6 April 1978 and 5 April 2010. Home Responsibilities Protection was replaced with National Insurance credits for parents and carers on 6 April 2010.
