We remain committed to making better use of data across government and opening up government data sets where appropriate. We have been developing plans for a Chief Data Officer role and more information will be announced in due course. In the meantime, the Chief Executive of the Civil Service will continue to chair the Data Advisory Board to drive forward this agenda at the most senior level in Government.
