The Government has accepted all of the recommendations in the independent Cancer Taskforce report; ‘Achieving World-Class Cancer Outcomes: A strategy for England 2015-2020’, including those related to children and young people. NHS England’s Clinical Reference Group for Children and Young Adults is leading on the implementation of the recommendations which will improve the care and treatment of all cancers, including improving participation in clinical trials and reviewing the organisation of Designated Hospitals.
