Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what representations she received prior to the decision of the Metropolitan Police to use automated facial recognition at Notting Hill Carnival in 2016 and 2017.

A decision to deploy a facial recognition system is an operational one for the police.
