Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 21 February 2018 to Question 128032, on Government Departments: Procurement, whether the steps described are commonly taken by all Departments.

As a result of the Corporate Renewal monitoring process, Departments are engaged in a process to improve their contract management capability. It is intended that key contracts should have a Senior Contract Owner and a cross-government community has been established to share best practice in this area.
