Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the reasons are for the delay to the RAF's Protector unmanned aircraft system programme.

There are no technical issues delaying the Protector programme, which is progressing well. We are simply managing a seamless transition between getting the most out of our current Reaper aircraft, which is helping us defeat Daesh in the Middle East, and moving to the cutting-edge Protector.
