EU Institutions: Linlithgow and East Falkirk

Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what assessment he has made of the potential effect of the UK leaving the (a) European Chemicals Agency and (b) European Maritime Agency on (i) businesses and (ii) public safety in Linlithgow and East Falkirk constituency.

We want to achieve the best possible outcome and the strongest possible partnership - one that works for the UK and the EU. As part of the exit negotiations the Government will discuss with the EU and member states how best to continue cooperation in the maritime sector and in the chemical sector in the best interests of both the UK and EU.
