Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans he has to ensure that NHS cancer (a) appointments and (b) operations continue during the covid-19 outbreak.

Cancer services remain an absolute priority for the NHS. To maintain access to essential and urgent cancer services during the pandemic, COVID-19 protected surgical hubs are being established in each region and the use of additional independent sector capacity is maximised.
