Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many patients have been removed from GP lists on the grounds that the relationship between patient and GP has broken down in each of the last ten years for which figures are available.

The following table presents the number of patients that have been removed from the general practitioner (GP) practice lists as a result of:

- Alleged violent, threatening or abusive behaviour (leading to an immediate removal); and

- On the grounds that the relationship between the patient and the GP has broken down (leading to an 8-day removal).
