Individuals in the UK who have indefinite leave to remain or leave as a refugee will not lose their status by leaving and then returning to the UK. They are always required to meet any conditions attached to their status, in line with published guidance: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration.

When travelling outside the UK, these individuals will need to meet the entry requirements of any country to which they intend to enter.
