Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, (a) what the budget was and (b) how many staff were employed in the Education and Skills Funding Agency in each of the last three financial years to date.
This question was answered on 4th June 2018
The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) began its first year of operation on 1 April 2017.
The total budget for the ESFA for the 2017-18 financial year was £61.7 billion.
The number of permanent staff as at 31 March 2018 was 1,638.
