The ASPIRE Programme was intended to digitise (where appropriate) the Air Engineers' Toolkit (AET) processes, procedures, and tools with the aim of reducing the training burden and facilitating movement between delivery teams more effectively.

The value of the loss represents the value spent to date on the programme. Alternative routes to develop the work package are currently being explored. It is expected that an element of the current Aspire expenditure may become part of the scope of the product replacement programme.
