The last direct contact the UK Government had with Aung San Suu Kyi was on 20 November 2020, when the Prime Minister spoke with her following her election win. In the call the Prime Minister raised his concern at the actions of the military and noted that the UK would continue to push for progress on the Rohingya crisis and the situation in Rakhine, including on the international stage.
