Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans he has to continue beyond 2019 the Food and You Survey.

The Food Standards Agency has commissioned its Advisory Committee for Social Science to provide advice and recommendations on the future of the Food and You survey, in order to ensure that the survey provides value for money and the right tools for the job.

This review has commenced, and will be completed by spring 2019. There is a break clause with the survey contractor after each wave of the Food and You survey. The continuation of the survey, the methodology employed, and the topics covered will be agreed following the recommendation from the review.
