The Government published a validated impact assessment alongside the Civil Liability Bill on 20 March 2018. It contains analysis, data and assumptions including the likely number of self-represented personal injury claimants following implementation of the measures being taken forward in the Bill and also the supplementary measures to increase the small claims limit for personal injury claims. The Impact Assessment is available at: https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/bills/lbill/2017-2019/0090/whiplash-IA.pdf.
