NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services workforce statistics. These include staff working in hospital trusts and clinical commissioning groups, but not staff working in primary care, general practice surgeries, local authorities or other providers.

A table showing the total number of midwives and the number of those midwives who have self-reported their nationality as from the European Union employed by each National Health Service trust as at 30 November 2020, headcount, is attached.
