In England local authorities are responsible for improving the oral health of their local populations, and some local authorities have supervised toothbrushing programmes in place for early years settings and schools. The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities have published guidance to help local authorities who are interested in schemes, which is available at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/improving-oral-health-supervised-tooth-brushing-programme-toolkit
