The enforcement of the Hunting Act 2004 is an operational matter for the police. Enforcement is ultimately a decision for individual chief officers. Local forces will determine how and in what manner they will respond to hunting issues, depending on the resources available. The Government is therefore not in a position to comment on the progress made on tackling hare coursing in Lincolnshire.
