Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many HMRC workers are aged (a) under 25, (b) 25 to 39, (c) 40 to 49 and (d) 50 and over.

The number of HMRC workers as requested are:

a) Under 25 – 2666

b) 25 to 39 – 18602

c) 40 to 49 – 14676

d) 50 and over – 27623

This data is correct as at 31 August 2018 and includes all current employees of HMRC (including those on career breaks, loans and long-term absence)
