Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many staff are employed in the office of (a) Ministers of his Department and (b) the Permanent Secretary.

There are 36 staff employed by the department in ministers’ offices, and six in the office of the Permanent Secretary.
