Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what steps his Department is taking to ensure that goods produced outside of but imported into the UK by UK manufacturers are correctly labelled.

Products sold on the UK market must comply with a range of legal requirements, including in some cases, in relation to labelling. Enforcement authorities have the ability to take action where products do not comply with the legislation.
