In response to the Taylor Review, Government has committed to publish a final list of quality of work measures and a baseline assessment of quality of work currently in the UK economy.

We welcome the Carnegie Trust’s report, published on 7th September, as a valuable input to this work. We are currently considering their recommendations and will respond in due course. As part of this, BEIS officials are engaging with ONS to understand whether and how the Carnegie Trust’s recommendations could be implemented in practice.
