Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made an estimate of how many men have not sought medical treatment for prostate cancer during the covid-19 outbreak; and what steps his Department is taking to promote awareness of prostate cancer and encourage men who may have undiagnosed prostate cancer to seek treatment.

No estimate has been made.

NHS England and NHS Improvement and Public Health England are continuing to run the Help Us, Help You public awareness campaign. This campaign reinforces the message about the importance of seeking medical care during the COVID pandemic.
