Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many deep brain, vagal, sacral, spinal cord and occipital nerve stimulator implantations have been undertaken in each NHS trust in each of the last five years.

The information we do hold is attached and shows a count of finished consultant episodes (FCEs) by National Health Service trust from 2013-14 to 2017-18. The data shows FCEs rather than patients, as the same patient may have had more than one FCE within the same period.
