Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when work will be completed on a new passing loop at Brading on the Isle of Wight; and what the timescale is for introducing a half-hourly service on that railway line.

Work to construct a passing loop at Brading is due to take place during the Winter in 2020, and the half-hourly train service on the Island Line is due to be introduced at the May 2021 timetable change date.
