Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether it is Government policy to ensure that the average wage of HMRC staff will raise at least in line with the wage growth forecast made by the Office for Budget Responsibility over the next three years.

All aspects of pay in HMRC, including wage growth and annual pay awards for staff, are subject to the principles set out in the civil service pay guidance as agreed by Ministers.
