All steel procured is in accordance with British Steel standards where an applicable British Standard exists.

Ministry of Defence Policy requires all construction materials for major projects go through a sustainability appraisal and be sourced in a sustainable manner in accordance with BES 6001.

BS 8666 is the British Standard for Scheduling, Dimensioning, Bending and Cutting of Steel Reinforcement for Concrete. Any steel produced will meet this standard.
