The Department does not collect data on fertility treatment.

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has advised that it holds data on 17,176 patients having undergone National Health Service-funded fertility treatment in the United Kingdom in 2021. The data is the latest information available and as shown on the HFEA’s register database on 16 October 2023. Data for 2022 will be available from May 2024 and data for 2023 will be available from May 2025.
